It would work out that the one time I had scheduled posts to publish would be the time that my server ATE MY JULY POSTS. Arg.
If you noticed any hiccups with my site today, it’s because I migrated servers. This is the first time I’ve ever had issues, but I wanted more control over my site, my backups, my plugins, etc. So I decided to switch servers. We’ll see how FatCow fares.
I was contemplating trying to rewrite the posts that were lost, but that always feels stuffy and insincere to me. So I guess I’ll have to settle for appearing to not care about my blog until five days into July
I can’t say that anything wildly interesting has happened since the last post I wrote. It’s all about work right now, and preparing for the move in a few weeks. Thomas isn’t leaving me to do all the packing, thank sweet baby J, ’cause I am truly and inarguably HORRIBLE at packing. When I moved to Edmonton from Calgary it was a nightmare. Ask anyone who tried to help me…
I’m writing longhand a lot more (partially because typing hurts my wrist right now, and partially because I miss putting pen to paper) and it feels great. I’m trying the Fat Mum Slim challenge for July to see if I can take more photos, and here’s what I have so far:
July 1: (I love this picture of me!)
July 4: (New running shoes, y’all!)
I’ve taken those snazzy shoes to my class at Blitz Conditioning, and they worked great (until my legs did not). Went to yoga tonight and had an…interesting class? It felt like the instructor was rushing through the motions and the breathing, ’cause they were about half of the time that I would take in that breath (if that makes any sense. Basically, she made me feel like I was hyperventilating).
I can’t wait for the weekend, ’cause after this weekend that means I’m on VACATION. Well, kind of. I’m going to see the doctor on Monday, I have to work a little (since we have a project launching), and then I’m going to the lake to help my aunt, uncle and dad prepare for the memorial service for my grandmother on Thursday. Then it’s to Calgary for Thomas’ sister’s birthday/housewarming party. I’m excited to see their new house, the pictures look gorgeous! Then we pick up the keys to *our* place. Thomas can finally see the interior of the house that we’ve already put a deposit down on…that man trusts me entirely too much!
