So, I’m back-dating content to fill the void from where I disappeared for a week. I know this *reaaaaally* doesn’t count for posting every day in October, but I’m going to bend the rules a little and at least have content available for every day.
The prompt for the 3rd is: Do you enjoy acting?
This is a tough one to answer. I’d have to say yes and no, because while I find it fun and I’ve tried improv a couple of times, my stagefright can be so all-encompassing that I want nothing to do with acting, ever. Even putting on little stage skits for friends or at the school talent show when I was a kid was petrifying.
I can appreciate acting from an audience perspective much better. I love when amazing actors get great roles with dynamite scripts. This is when magic happens! There are shows that I never thought I’d be invested in or want to watch, but the actors pulled me in with their amazing skills. LOST is a great example of that for me.
When Thomas suggested watching LOST, I was really hesitant, because I don’t see that kind of show being my bag at all. But holy crap, once we got rolling I just couldn’t stop!
Do you enjoy acting?
I love acting. LOVE IT. I actually want to be an actor “when I grow up.” I was in a couple plays in High School and I have been in a few plays for Storybook Theatre as well. I would love to actually act as a career. I just need to get my butt to more auditions LOL
