I ended up playing in a softball tournament all weekend. What was originally supposed to be two games on Saturday (3pm and 5pm) turned into five over the course of two days, because my team would just not stop winning! And it was going to be six, but the last game we were scheduled to play the other side was a no show, so we won by default.
Of course, this isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Except that in the second game I ended up pulling my quad out of place, because I was running like a beast (and may or may not have stretched it out enough after our practice on Tuesday. Apparently my body does NOT remember playing several games a week as a teenager). I need to start conditioning again, because holy CRAP that hurt, and I have no desire to experience that again in the near future! Guess I should start hitting the gym before next season.
That’s been the majority of the week, with a whole lot of work on the side.
