I just started reading The Help recently, but before that I was enjoying Sharp Objects (probably my least favourite Gillian Flynn novel though) and Goodnight Nobody.

I don’t think I’ve watched any movies in March. It was a busy month! Let’s go with Les Miserable, since I saw that again for a girly movie night in.

TV Show

Pretty Little Liars all the way, with some Breaking Bad in there just for fun.

Game

*cough*FarmVille*cough*. Oh, and WoW. Plus The Sims 3! I had a very ineffective conversation with EA about why my disc was suddenly not being recognized as valid, then realized that it’s probably because I didn’t connect it online (ugh) and after doing so I can now play to my heart’s content. Surprise surprise. EA, just stop it with the needing to be connected to the server AT ALL TIMES! My game was FINE prior to that, and I hate that extra step. I don’t download content, post on forums, or actively participate in ANY Sims 3 stuff online. Ever. And I don’t intend to start!

Bath/Beauty Product

I bought some new Bumble and Bumble hair stuff, but I have yet to try it. Aside from that, I’ve renewed my love for Maybelline with their foundation and concealer.

Article of Clothing

Love love love my new leopard flats. Also excited that I can now wear them outside!

Food Item

Anything made with potatoes. But, specifically, the bacon-wrapped potatoes with dill sour cream dipping sauce that Erin made for her Les Miserable night. Pretty sure I ate at least 50% of those.

Drink

Water water water. Plus some tea, and vodka for fun.

February’s Favourites

I love that alliteration. Probably the best part of February, to be honest

Book – Dark Places, by Gillian Flynn. I loved Gone Girl, and this book is in the same vein. I couldn’t put it down!
Song – Too Close, by Alex Clare. It’s on an 8tracks mix that I listen to a lot, and therefore got played the most!
Movie – I don’t think I saw any movies in theatre in February, but I finally saw Skyfall at my parents’ house when I was up for dental work. Loved it. But in all seriousness, how did Bond survive the first 10 minutes of that movie? Ridic.
TV Show – Finished the first season of Pretty Little Liars, and Thomas and I have gotten into Breaking Bad. I started the show and stopped after the first three episodes because it was SO fast-paced and intense. But, watching it the second time and having someone to watch it with has brought it back to a tolerable level for me.
YouTube Video – I have my mom to thank for this one. It’s definitely Bruno Mars’ 2012 Grammy performance of Runaway Baby. She showed it to me in the middle of the month and got me hooked! I even bought the album.

Game – Back to WoW
Bath/Beauty Product – Loving my MAC foundation and blush again. Trying to get more into the makeup scene as a way to help distract myself from my braces.
Article of Clothing – Got a spiffy new jean jacket from Old Navy — now I just need a pair of black or hunter green leggings/skinny jeans to wear with them! I have a whole outfit in mind…
Food Item – Food’s been a tricky one this month. It’s been difficult to eat/chew for the latter half of February. I miss Doritos sorely, so I’ll say Doritos since I lived on them and soup in the week between spacers and braces. It’s going to be a long three years…
Drink – Coffee. It’s Roll Up The Rim at Tim Hortons again!
